Join the Ledyard Leading Women as we GO RED!

02/01/2013
7:30 AM

February 1st is National Wear Red Day for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement and we will be presenting an important program on heart disease in women.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Christine Medora as our speaker - she will talk about heart disease statistics, the signs of heart disease, and things we can do to prevent it. One of our own local Leading Women is a heart attack survivor and she will share her story with us. We will have red dress pins for everyone and be offering a heart healthy breakfast! Representatives from the American Heart Association will be on hand with giveaways and lots of helpful information.

Please join us on this important day—what we learn could save our lives! Don’t forget to wear RED!

Dr. Medora practiced in Princeton, New Jersey until moving to the Upper Valley in 2005 to work in General Internal Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. In May 2011, she joined her partner, Dr. Adam Schwarz, at Hanover Continuity Clinic, which is a private practice located on Lyme Road in Hanover. The practice is a “micropractice” model that focuses on patient continuity and access, and the belief that communication between doctors and patients should be straightforward. Dr. Medora enjoys all aspects of adult medical care, ranging from adolescent medicine to geriatrics, including Women’s Health.
