Commercial Lending Credit Manager

               Ledyard National Bank is seeking an experienced individual to join our Commercial Lending team. This individual will be responsible for the oversight and management of the credit underwriting function, commercial credit administration, cash management, and the technological initiatives within the commercial credit and administration function. This person will evaluate staffing, develop training programs, and recommend enhancements and efficiencies to ensure improvements in both the quality of the work product and the client experience. The Credit Manager will recommend changes in credit policy and commercial banking practices. This individual will act as liaison between the operations department and commercial banking. As needed will perform financial analyses and underwrite more complex credits. This person will attend client meetings, business meetings, and community events.

       Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent with five plus years of commercial banking/credit experience. Candidates should have strong communication and analytical skills, ability to work through complex issues, develop multiple solutions, and have great supervisory and management skills.

Private Banking Relationship Manager

        Ledyard National Bank is seeking an experienced and outgoing individual to join our Private Banking team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and their families while developing relationships through networking with internal and external centers of influence, proactive community involvement, board membership and collaboration with other business-line leaders within Ledyard. The Relationship Manager will act as an advisor and provide comprehensive lending, banking and wealth management solutions for the unique and complex needs of our clients and prospects. Areas of focus for the Relationship Manager will include high net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business executives and professionals in the medical, dental, educational, legal and real estate fields with the expectation to retain and grow the client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new client relationships to increase private bank lending, bank deposits, brokerage and wealth management relationships.          

       Candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience in personal banking, lending and/or wealth management; preferably with a CFP® or CWS® designation. Excellent client relationship management skills and first class presentation and effective communication skills are essential as is the ability to guide, listen and influence internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should have an understanding of private banking, delivering exceptional service and the proven ability to work effectively across all lines of business.

This position has a very competitive salary and incentive plan.

       

Full-Time and Part-Time Tellers

       The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions. 

       Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
